Take a pack lunch for the family
A favourite with little and big boys alike. Plenty to see and great displays. Lots of activities and suitable for all family members. A good old fashioned day out.

Check before if there is an air show event taking place as this will increase ticket prices
Simply a terrific day. The venue is an old RAF airfield and a magnificent place with the museum being partly indoors and also outdoors. Outside two working Spitfires go through some touch and go exercises and the roar of the engines are phenomenal. The inside exhibits take place in five hanger each with a slightly different theme. The exhibits are mainly centred around military aircraft but there are some civil aircraft and also a hanger dedicated to land operation craft which is fantastic and it really adds another dimension to the museum. There are countless Spitfires around the place but there is also a prototype Concorde and a Boeing B-52 Strato Fortress, I have to say, they are absolutely amazing looking machines. A superb collection in a excellent venue.
