For other close-ups walk through the lemur enclosure: great stuff.
Don't bother with the dinosaur safari - plastic animals are not half as interesting as real ones. The day we went, we wanted to see the elephants, but they weren't in their enclosure. We had a fantastic treat, because they walked them out onto the large grassy area and gave a talk. We were about 10m from these huge animals: wonderful!

If the weather is on your side why not take a picnic and pre-book tickets for a discount.
My son loved it here! He is fanatical about dinosaurs which is typical I suppose. The dinosaur safari was awesome and the zoo was pretty good too. The tigers were active and so too were the Lemurs, which we even got to pet! Loved the penguin section too! A great place to take your children whatever the weather.
