Only competent climbers can climb unsupervised at Creation, if you are a beginner then you need to check out their courses and take some lessons before you can climb.

I went to Creation Climbing Centre a couple of weeks ago and had a great time with my kids. I've done quite a bit of climbing but I wouldn't say I'm an expert, I found the safety briefing a great help, infact I must commend the staff at Creation for their patience and friendly attitude, even though they must give these briefings so often it didn't feel like they were just going through the motions. They were extremely helpful throughout and really helped to put the kids at ease. There are three rooms at Creation but that is just how the walls are arranged in the one massive room. Each of the walls are all pretty amazing climbs. Some climbs are straightforward and are obviously aimed at the competent and the intermediate climbers (me included) and then there are some that are very difficult climbs, of which I'm obviously not capable of challenging so I steered clear of those. There are some easier climbs available too, so if your children are learning how to climb these are perfect. I would imagine if you were a very good climber you'd enjoy Creation as the facilities are varied in their difficulty. That is what makes Creation such a good climbing centre. The facilities are first rate and can test even the most competent of climbers as some of the lines looked very difficult! There were some great climbers at Creation when I was there, but having said that, two of my children are aged 5 and 6 and they enjoyed their lessons their too so it really is a place for all ages and abilities. They also have a new bouldering section which I had a crack at and enjoyed. As I'm quite new to Climbing  I'll be visiting Creation Climbing Centre quite a lot in the future as I know that my skills will only improve in such a good centre, and I'm glad to live so close.
